Author ~ Grace Augustine

Meet the lovely Grace Augustine~

Grace’s heartfelt stories are full of hope, love, and everyday challenges. Pick one up. You'll be glad you did...

Internationally known author, Grace Augustine, was born in Shelby, Montana and grew up in Cut Bank, Montana (dubbed as The Coldest Spot in the Nation). Her work career has taken her from title and abstracting to administrative assistant church work to co-owning a small town weekly newspaper to her current profession as a floral designer.

Grace thinks of herself as a "Jill" of most trades and is not afraid to learn new things. "If you can't learn something new each day, there's something wrong," she says.

The ideas for her Acorn Hills series stem from her growing up years as well as the issues she has had to overcome along the way. "I've developed a new romance category...for the over 50 crowd...I'm calling it the salt and pepper genre. My books deal with real life issues, overcoming adversity, maintaining a positive outlook, and so much more. Just because we are 50 yrs old or older doesn't mean that life stops. We all still want attention and affection and adventure! We want to experience all life has to offer. We use our age as wisdom to share with those around us. We are sexual, sensual, and sensible," Grace explains.

Augustine was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in July of 2003. Her thoughts on that "It may slow me down, but if I can at all do it, I will. Sitting and feeling sorry for yourself isn't the answer...living your life with an open, joy-filled heart is."

If you haven't pick up one of her wonderful books, this is the perfect opportunity.

JUST IN TIME FOR THE HOLIDAYS ~ NEW RELEASE
Special Occasions, The Acorn Hills Series, Book 7

Acorn Hills was home. It had always been home for Jillian Dempsey, except for the few years she spent in Montana.

For Jillian, life was about lessons--lessons you taught someone or lessons you learned from life issues or people who crossed your path.

Her progressive, open upbringing in the late 1960's through the mid 1970's gave her a good foundation...a foundation of morals, high standards, respect, and love.

In this final book of The Acorn Hills Series, we find Jillian contemplating the past, leaving words of wisdom for her sons, and forging ahead living her happily ever after.

5 Star review by Ellie Mack
“Great addition to the Acorn Hills Series!

Ms. Augustine nailed it on this one. The depth of emotions - I can't even begin to tell you. She had me laughing, crying, and at certain points stunned. The relationship development between the characters is phenomenal and allows you to really get into the community that is Acorn Hills…”

Sultry Sensations, The Acorn Hills Series, Book 3

Denise Berrie was the overweight teen no one befriended. The countless adversities in her growing up years took their toll, that's for sure, but also made her the strong business woman she is today. Will she ever realize the refining of the fire made her a diamond, or will she struggle with the demons and run from success?

5 Star Review by Angela Ford

“…If you followed this series you will not be disappointed with the third in the series, Sultry Sensations.

This time we are taken on Denise’s journey. I loved how the story took me back to the days when Denise and her friends first met. The hardships and the heartaches encountered as a teenager, Denise struggled with a few issues. Not only has she had to deal with an absentee father but a mother who dragged her with her and through her into the fire; her mother’s boyfriend. Saved by her teacher and taken to a loving family and then placed with a woman, Barb, who became the mom she needed. Happy and safe until she encounters heartache with her first love and left to make the hardest decision of her life. Will her struggles make her the strong successful woman she so desires?

This story will tear at your heartstrings. It will make you cry, laugh, cheer and get angry…grabs just about every emotion from within…”

War and its remnants are cruel. Just ask Richard Dempsey, a Vietnam Vet.

Richard served his turn in Vietnam, but came home a changed man. Plagued with nightmares of the past, Richard and his friends go on a life changing trip back to modern day Saigon. Their hope...to slay the dragons that stole so much of their lives. Each deals with his own demons. Each has life changing experiences. Each finds out the importance of friendship and family.

My 5 Star Review

Life, Loss, and Love…

Richard returned to his home town after the Vietnam War. He’s lived his life there for the past thirty years. His friends and townspeople see the helpful, friendly, loving, and caring man. However, it’s what’s on the inside that’s not evident. Richard is haunted with tragic memories of his time in Vietnam.

He and Jillian are neighbors. They’ve each live in the same house they grew up in. Unbeknownst to Jillian, she has been the love of Richard’s life for as long as he can remember. Jillian loves Richard too, in a best friend kind of way. He’s the person Jillian relies on when times are bad, good, and everything in between. He’s always been there—ice cream and spoon in hand.

Still plagued by the past, there are times when Richard is consumed with depression and anger. Will Richard ever reach the other side of this never-ending nightmare? Will he find the strength to finally confess his undying love to Jillian, or have the demons of the past come to stay?

I truly loved Richard’s story. If you haven’t read Richard’s Relics pick it up today. It will make you cry, laugh, and hope for this man’s happy ending.

Holiday Promises,The Acorn Hills Series, Book 6

I Promise! Those are probably the two words everyone wants to hear, especially during the holidays. In Holiday Promises everyone hears them at least one time.

Alex Halloran, putting it simply, was a big jerk in high school. He was the super jock all the girls wanted.

He began dating Felicia Worthington, the daughter of one of the most financially elite families in Acorn Hills and that turned out to be a huge feather in Alex's cap.

Felicia going off to college and Alex's selfish choices drove a wedge between them.

Years later their paths cross and they decide to see each other again.

Will Fate allow them a second chance? What can possibly stand in their way of a happy ever after?

"If I could pick someplace to live it would be a place like Grace rites about in this series. I love Acorn Hills and the people that live there. I feel like I know them all personally. I love it when I can get that into a series. I hope this one continues because I need to know more about these lovely people..."

My 5 Star Review

Do you believe in physics or that there is energy around us that can aid in the situations you find yourself in? Maybe you do, or maybe you don't. However you must believe in the idea that your mindset can sway your attitude and thereby contribute to the way an event plays out. Pick up a copy of A Soul's Kiss and you will understand what I mean. See first hand what can happen when you use the power of positive belief...I found the story to be uplifting and exciting.

Ethereal Authority, Diva to the Guides Trilogy, Book 2

Love comes to us in many forms. In Ethereal Authority two people find themselves together for a second time solving yet another mystery, using their intuition and special communication gifts...along with the help of a very British feline familiar.

My 5 Star Review

Love how this story jumps right into a suspenseful life-or-death situation. Charisse Carrington is a traffic reporter. During a routine morning helicopter flight, everything goes terribly wrong. Unable to save herself, Charisse telepathically reaches out to a past colleague and mentally pleads for his help.

Mark Seymour is a cop, who was injured in the line-of-duty. At the time of his injury, Charisse and he had worked together. She’d warned him of impending danger and he’d ignored her warning. Now the tables were turned and it was Charisse who must fight to take back her life.

Will Charisse push Mark away as she'd done, or will he help Charisse heal and work her way back to walking again? Add to this duo, Simon the Cat, and familiar to Charisse and you have a perfect combination. I highly suggest you read Ethereal Authority, book 2 in the Diva to the Guides. Check out the entire trilogy, you will enjoy them all.

Celestial Enchantment, Diva to the Guides Trilogy, Book 3

In this third and final story of the Diva to the Guides Trilogy, we find Bart Carrington reflecting on life and his future. Witches, a very British feline familiar, and so many metaphysical gifts swirl into surprises that it will leave you wanting to re-read what you just read! Sweet surprises happen and age old secrets are revealed. You won't want to miss what's between these pages!

Great characters and sweet story that entwines friends and family of different age groups. And, Simon, is a great addition and side kick to the story. A Nice sweet enjoyable story.”
