Excerpt Payton's Pursuit:

“Collin, knock it off,” a booming male voice sounded.
She looked to her right and saw the lights in Morgan’s bungalow flash on and off. Payton headed for the disruption. She would not have these men destroy the bungalow before it was even a month old. She stormed up to the door and knocked, and was rewarded with a crash.
“Collin, I’m serious man. If you don’t pull yourself together you are really going to piss me off,” Morgan said.
Payton stepped inside. Before she could confront the two men, a hockey skate whizzed past, missed her head by scant inches and crashed through the bay window. Morgan ducked and bobbed, to stay out of the trajectory of flying objects. Collin stood in the middle of the room, sweat poured down his body and danger and destruction radiated off of him. Payton’s mouth fell open as she struggled to process the scene. She yelped and ducked as the twin to the first hockey skate hurdled straight toward her and the banging inside her skull rose to a fevered pitch.
Both men turned in the direction of the sound, the remainder of the objects in play dropped to the floor. Collin, wild-eyed and panting, glared at her for a heartbeat, then turned and propelled himself out of the broken bay window. Morgan rushed over to Payton and scooped her up from the floor. Using his foot, he kicked a chair right side up and gently placed her down. He hurried to the kitchen and grabbed a towel and glass, he filled the glass with water and soaked the towel. He returned to Payton and placed the towel across her forehead as he handed her the glass.
“Are you okay?” Morgan asked. “You weren’t hit, were you?”
“I’m fine — really,” Payton said. She struggled to regain her equilibrium and sit upright. “What in the world were you two fighting about?”
“We weren’t fighting. Collin had a bad day and was telling me about it. I was distracted, trying to get myself ready to go running, and I guess I didn’t realize he was getting upset. Something triggered and he flipped out. Regrettably, you walked in on him almost in full wolf mode.”
“Almost—” Payton said.

~Kitty's Christmas Hope~

For those of you who are fans of Halo's Christmas Wish and Brenda's Christmas Desire, you'll love the third book in the Dreams Come True Series.

Kitty's Christmas Hope!

Kitty Skinner meets the perfect guy, he's kind, considerate and sexy as hell. She hopes to spend her favorite holiday with him, Christmas Eve. The only problem is, Aaron treats her like his best friend, not the girlfriend she dreams of being. To make matters worse he’s found his perfect girl and wants Kitty to help plan their first date.

Aaron Tyler thinks Kitty is sweet, talented and someone he can settle down with, but believes he has to deceive her into believing he cares for someone else to win her heart.

Nothing goes as planned when one mishap after another prevents them from admitting their true feelings.

Can Kitty and Aaron take a leap of faith and reveal their true feelings before their friendship takes a beating and miss out on their perfect date—Christmas Eve?

Kitty Skinner watched Aaron Tyler, out of the corner of her eye as they stomped their feet and cheered along with the rest of the rowdy football crowd at CenturyLink Field in downtown Seattle.

A gust of freezing wind blew through the stands and sent a chill through her body. She watched the wind toss Aaron's, unruly hair into his face.

He fruitlessly blew on his bangs to get a clear view of the game. When that didn't work, he used his sleeve to flip his sandy, blonde hair out of his face.

She wanted to reach over and grab him by his shaggy hair and devour his luscious mouth, and she would if they were dating instead of best buddies.

She gets no greater feeling than watching her characters come alive in each other's arms. Most of all, she loves giving her characters the happily ever after they deserve—with a few bumps and bruises along the way.

One of her favorite things to do is picking up a new book and sinking into the story, immersing herself in the emotions between the characters. She hopes to inspire her readers the same way her favorite authors have inspired her.

I am kicking off the season with the release of PAYTON'S PURSUIT - book #2 in 'The Winters Sisters' Series!
Excerpt from Payton’s Pursuit

Collin sat motionless and watched Payton’s every move. What the hell happened back there? One minute he experienced another of his uncontrollable fits of rage, and the next moment a blanket of calm and serenity wrapped around him. Amazing feeling after so long. Those hazel eyes were gorgeous, but women never made him feel serene, no matter how pretty. All three of the sisters were something, but Payton was the pick of the litter. As breathtaking as Payton was in her designer blue suit with her shimmering wavy cinnamon hair that fell past her shoulders, she still couldn’t be the source of the calm that enveloped him.

“Get a grip, McBain,” Collin scolded himself. She didn’t even notice him. Hell, she hit the floor out cold the second he looked up at her. Collin didn’t even get a chance to properly introduce himself— not that she would care. He got the distinct feeling Payton would never forgive him for kidnapping her sister. What does it matter? Not like he would spend much time around her anyway. Like Victory said, he wasn’t in his right mind when he kidnapped her last year. Victory forgave him, if Payton was petty enough to hold a grudge, he’d do his best to avoid her. Who am I trying to kid? She will make my life miserable the entire time I live on her campus.
