  1. My most exciting summer was 2 years ago when I visited Moscow. It was something :) Summer when I'm not traveling or seeing/ doing something new is not very successful for me!

  8. Mine was a really long road trip some years ago. The area was truly rural, in the countryside, and we traveling through at night was scary!

  12. The best summer I ever had was back in 1989 when I was 16 I spent the entire summer driving around and exploring with my boyfriend at the time & my best friend Dean and of course with my sisters and little neighbor boy in tow as the parents were working. We had a blast that summer and when I think back about some of the stuff we did it makes me cringe. Thank God we are still alive!

  13. My most exciting summer was maybe 1968 when hubby came back from Viet Nam. We'd been married only about 6 weeks before he left, so it was exciting to have him back. And, of course, with him returning we then moved to his next base -- Vandenberg AFB in CA.
Several of our summers over the past years have been moves -- so new places and adventures were always exciting too.

  14. I think my most exciting summer was the summer I was 17. I had my own car, my first real job, and good friends to spend some lazy days with doing absolutely nothing but having it mean a lot more.

  17. My most exciting summer was the Summer of 2011. I went to the Keys with my family! It was also the scariest day of my life! Me and my dad went tubing in the ocean and I fell off! I was so terrified! My dad, who is not the greatest swimmer, being the awesome dad that he is jumped off the tube so I wouldn't be alone and we swam back to the boat together. The whole time I was praying that we would not be eaten by a shark! You would think after that terrifying experience I would never get back in the ocean but the next day I did. We went out like 15 miles to this beautiful spot and went snorkeling! The rest of the trip was pretty uneventful but I had a great time with my dad and the rest of the family!

    Thank you for the giveaway!

  27. Probably when I was 16 was my most exciting summer. I had my mom's car and went to the beach every day. That was long before we worried about sun damage and skin cancer. Only worried about getting a good tan. No work, no school, just carefree times.
