WELCOME TO THE HOT SUMMER NIGHTS BLOG HOP!

Hosted by Books To Go Now
May 22th - 29th
Remember the song Hot Summer Nights?

There was a time not too far gone
When I was changed by a song
On the radio and in my car
The pounding of an electric guitar
Then came a time to make a stand
We started up a four-piece band
And the heat felt like spotlights
In the heat of a hot summer night
Ooh hot summer nights
Ooh hot summer nights

Does this bring back fond memories? Or is it another song or maybe a book that reminds you of sun, sand or a hot summer fling?
Come on! Tell us about your favorite summer memory!!
Hop over to the bloggers giveaways and posts.

You as a reader can go to EACH blog and comment about your hottest ever summer night.

Just leave your email address and be entered to win.

Books To Go Now is giving away TWO Grand Prizes!

1st Grand Prize: (1) Kindle Fire!

2nd Grand Prize: (1) $100 Amazon Gift Card

I'll be giving away an eBook copy of my debut novel, Chasing Victory to one lucky person.

I will be giving away one necklace, made by me, randomly drawn by Rafflecopter!

Chasing Victory Blurb:

Doctor Doolittle in female form creates X-Men on steroids. Murder, kidnapping, and blackmail follow as world-renowned geneticist Victory Winters is forced to pursue her research on canine DNA.

Victory possesses an unusual innate sense of communication, boarding on telepathic when relating to animals. This unique ability has elevated her status to world renowned genetic research specialist. She is kidnapped and blackmailed with threats to her family, forcing her to work for a rival corporation, Biotec and run by a madman CEO.

Naval officer Tristan Farraday is sent undercover to track Biotec’s experiments. These experiments involve implanting genus canis DNA into humans thereby manipulating their genetic makeup, in hopes to create the perfect soldier.

First suspecting Victory as being associated with Biotec, Tristan later realizes that she has been pulled into this world against her wishes. Victory refuses to divulge the genetic answers Biotec demands. She believes Biotec is looking to exploit her findings, by using them in a destructive manner. Will Tristan be able to rescue her from this madman’s grip and save her family? Can he keep the research Victory discovers away from enemy hands?

  8. I fell in love with Labradore Retrievers when I adopted an abandoned one. They're people lovers. Plus, she was the smartest dog I'd ever known.

How much research did you have to do in order to write about a geneticist?

    1. Hi Kimberly, Labs are certainly lovable dogs. Great for families too! I did some research on geneticist, but not days and days. Tried to use a plausible idea, and then just took off from there. Thanks for asking and for stopping by!

  13. I'm an animal lover and love all dogs, but my favorite breed are Great Danes. They are the sweetest, most loyal dogs I have run across. Unfortunately they have a short lifespan of about 10 years, but they are worth every minute of the heartbreak.
